Me and my other half have just come back from an absolutely amazing break down Paignton. We stayed in the cherry tree hotel where all the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was to die for! Such an amazing location for a great price! We couldn’t recommend this hotel more! 10/10 for us ☺️

This place is Fantastic! Great location! Great breakfast! Great bed! Great time! We absolutely loved our stay, we got looked after so well and massive thank you to Kate and her sister, they were uber cool and made us feel so welcome. Even the booking was fun! If you are looking for a wonderful place to stay in Paignton right next to the sea then you cannot do better than the Cherry Tree! We will be back!! 1st class service and best breakfast ever! Thank you Kate and team!

We were lucky to stay with Trish and Alan for five days thanks to a last minute cancellation. We can absolutely recommend this hotel without hesitation, they are really nice people and gave us good recommendations. You can sense the passion and pride they take into accommodating their guests and looking after them well.

Loved this place, rooms are simple but clean. The staff are incredible, so friendly an nothing is too much trouble, the breakfast is beautiful.

Fantastic hotel Alan and Trish lovely. Rooms nice and spacious superb location for everything and the beach and the cooked breakfast is just perfect the mushrooms are delicious. Everything u need and would want. Definitely going back next year.

Lovely service, Alan and Trish very welcoming hosts. Breakfast was great – particularly enjoyed the mushrooms and sausages! Clean and tidy room and a beautiful location directly opposite the sea. Had some great recommendations on where to eat locally too. Thank you both for a lovely stay!

Already on our arrival Trish met us and gave us plenty of ideas for places we could visit in the area to suit our interests. The room was very clean and had everything we needed for a weekend stay. Very good location with excellent onsite parking, close to torquay, brixham, berryhead and even Dartmouth all being very easily accessible from here. Trish and Alan were amazing hosts and we look forward to returning.

Had a lovely stay .Very welcoming. Great view from our room . Comfortable bed . Good breakfast . Will be our first choice when coming back to Torbay.. Alan and Trish and staff are perfect hosts…

This place is really the best. Its like going home. You wont find a better welcome or owners than here. Their knowledge of places to go is endless. Time is taken to get to know you and you definitely leave feeling part of the family. As if that wasnt enough the food is superb, the parking is free and i think you are in the best spot ever. Close to everything. Thanks for another truly magical stay.

Extremely comfortable beds and rooms are very clean and well cept, owners are lovely and very kind. Breakfast is delicious and service is on point and fast. Would recommend 100% to everyone.

Beautiful place, friendly owners and room was lovely and beautiful sea view, would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a holiday.

With in doubt the best family b&b I’ve ever stayed in the breakfast is fantastic the location is perfect only a 2min walk to beach overall it’s fantastic, Alan and Trish are such a lovely couple anything u need they are there, it’s just and amazing place to stay

Nice friendly atmosphere from the owners. The hotel is based opposite the main sea front and close to local amenities. The room we stayed in was comfortable and had the basic facilities we needed. One suggestion would be to check water temperature of the shower in room 5, this was very hot, but did not impact our stay. Breakfast was lovely and we were surprised this was not an extra but was in with the main room price Great Quality !. We have never visited Paignton before but certainly will again and will look to see if the cherry tree has vacancies.

A lovely B&B so friendly and welcoming have everything you could possibly need right near seafront close to everything. We went for a long weekend me my husband and 3 children 11/5/6 months and when we asked for some washing up liquid so we could clean babies bottles before going in cold steriliser they even offered to wash them up for us but we refused and just asked for a pot of washing up liquid which they got straight away for us. So accommodating and we can’t wait to go back for a visit in the summer holidays.

This charming hotel along Paigntons sea front is a little gem! Its run by an amazing family who are so welcoming, you feel comfortable as soon as you arrive. Rooms are clean and ‘roomy’ a nice size and comfortable bed. Its well organised and by ordering your breakfast the day before its all ready for when you sit down the next morning. Alan is a great host and makes sure you have everything. Trish’s breakfasts are very tasty and perfectly cooked. Good hosts, good food and good comfort! What more do you need!

Never stayed at The Cherry Tree Hotel before but enjoyed my time here immensely. Trish was an excellent Hostess and the whole team were all extremely welcoming. Couldn’t fault cleanliness of the rooms and breakfast was really good with plenty of choice. Top Marks Guys keep up the good work

We have just returned place to stay as usual. Alan and Trish were so welcoming even to running us to Rail Station. Breakfast was so good It is a great place near to Beach and Shops. Short walk to Rail and Bus station. Have Booked for nexgt year.

My wife and I had a room with a four poster which was great.the hotel was very nice Alan and Trish were the perfect hosts and would bend over backwards for you. Even assisted my friend with giving me a Birthday surprise. Breakfast was superb. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you Alan and Trish

Currently staying with Alan and Trish after a one night awful experience stay at another hotel. Alan and trish are amazing and have helped us out so much making us feel welcome. Rooms are lovely and very clean, breakfast is really nice. It was my boyfriends birthday today and Alan and trish brought him out a cake at breakfast time and sang happy birthday which was very thoughtful. Couldn’t fault this hotel in anyway at all. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Paignton. Myself, my boyfriend and our son will definitely be returning again. Thank you very much to this lovely couple for their hospitality

My husband, my 5 year old son and myself have just had a weeks stay at the cherry tree ( august 6-11). We only booked the night before, as a last minute holiday and were fortunate enough to drop on a family room. The room was great size, bunk beds, and double, although more like a three quarter, bit on the small size for two elephants like us, however I was able to take advantage of the spare bunk. We had a view over looking back of hotel but still able to see quite far. The room was clean, and comfortable we all had good nights sleep. Beds made daily with tea refilled.

Recommended by a friend,and l will definitely be back when l am next in the area.Assured of a very warm welcome by the hosts Alan and Trish who from check in to check out go out of their way for you.Beautiful location with fabulous sea views,ample free parking and very close to all amenities.Wonderful breakfast cooked to perfection! The cherry tree hotel is right on the sea front with beautiful views of painghton sea.It has a carpark out the front, the rooms are clean and tidy.The owner’s Alan and trish are very accommodating, especially at breakfast as there is a good menu with veggieterain choice,I can only have soya milk which was no trouble for them to provide for me. Well worth a stay if visiting painghton. Thank you Alan and Trish.
